Mad eyes behind windows, trembling hands unable to open a door, feet nailed to the ground, and the feeling that the world has ended. Andrea has felt it all; she has lived it since her last day, transformed into a “sapiens rat,” living far from the light.

The Silent City is a thriller—fiction, yes—but as close as the streets of a familiar, warm city that one day becomes a desert where the only possible life has hidden in sewers, tunnels, and buildings now inhabited by a new species.

The story is based on the plot of the film The Last Days, created and directed by the Pastor brothers.
