Duna Herman
Duna Herman, 1999, Valencia. From a very young age, she has felt a strong affinity for the worlds of film and literature, two disciplines that have shaped her personal and professional journey. She studied Audiovisual Communication and Journalism and began making her own short films at age 16, developing a special sensitivity for storytelling ever since.
She has published La tierra prometida (Editorial Seleer, 2022), a science fiction novel set in Los Angeles in 2099, where a police officer must survive in a world in which artificial intelligence implants have gradually replaced human reasoning; X (Ediciones Atlantis, 2023), also a work of science fiction, in which the protagonist wakes up in a reality where his twin brother has never existed and, after being admitted to a psychiatric hospital, discovers that many other realities exist; and Retazos (Editorial Sar Alejandría, 2024), an intimate and autobiographical collection of poems based on personal experiences.
