Founded in 1983 by Ángeles González Díez, Bookbank was one of the pioneering literary agencies in Spain, standing out for its work in the representation of foreign publishers and agents both in Spain and Latin America.

From the beginning, Alicia González Sterling was part of the team as a literary agent, and in 1996 she took the reins of the agency, broadening its focus to represent national writers in Spain as well as abroad.
