From a star base located in the Saturn system, a spacecraft, like a Noah’s Ark, prepares to make the leap to the stars.

Two hundred and fifty crew members intend to embark on a journey that, after seven hundred years, will bring their descendants to a habitable planet orbiting Alpha Centauri—but something will intervene, leaving a single woman alone aboard the enormous ship.
