A powerful alien species dedicates itself to seeding life on selected planets in a distant arm of the galaxy. Every 802 years, the “Seeders” return to harvest what has grown and, after the collection, annihilate everything.

The technologically advanced humanity of the Ekumen has successfully colonized the Orion Arm and, after discovering traces of the mysterious Seeders, embarks on a harsh adventure to uncover the reasons behind their terrifying goals, seeking ways to survive an ending that seems inevitable.
