Fitzek masterfully delivers a psychothriller full of tension, anguish, and terror. His protagonist, Matt Krüger, suffers from a fear of flying and will have to confront this phobia under horrifying circumstances.

The novel begins with a decision: Matt believes he must finally overcome his fear of flying. To do so, he boards the LegendAir, the fastest flight between Buenos Aires and Berlin. Matt has purchased several tickets to choose a seat based on its survival odds in case of an accident. Among these seats is 7A, considered the most dangerous according to aviation rules, so that no one else would sit there.

His plan unravels when he receives a call from a madman claiming to have kidnapped his daughter, threatening to kill her if he does not crash the plane.

Matt will be forced to devise a way to save the lives of those he loves without sacrificing the 600 passengers on board, all while facing his greatest fear: crashing on an airplane.
