Lorena Cuendias
Lorena Cuendias is a biologist and psychocorporal therapist specializing in the biology of trauma. As the founder of Mujer Alquimia and the online school Somatic Lab, she has spent more than thirty years exploring the connection between body, mind, emotions, and consciousness.
Through her own process of transformation, she has developed an integrative method that combines neuroscience, somatics, and spirituality, based on neurosomatics, attachment theory, the Internal Family System (IFS), bioenergetic analysis, and somatic experience. She supports people from around the world in their journeys—those who, after years of therapeutic work, feel that understanding their patterns is not enough and seek to integrate the bodily dimension and an approach that addresses the nervous system. She has guided thousands of them through courses, retreats, and online programs, and in this book she shares the embodied wisdom that transforms wounding into power and the body into a safe place.
She is also dedicated to training professionals in the fields of health, education, and human development in somatic intelligence, in addition to sharing her work on social media and in the media. You can find her on Instagram (@mujeralquimia) and on her website.
