Two simultaneous murders shock the country: Abdul Sarrán, spokesperson for the Muslim community in Galicia, is found dead beneath the façade of the Obradoiro in Santiago de Compostela. At the same time, his brother Mohammed is murdered on the Cuesta del Rey Chico, at the foot of the Alhambra. 

Inspector Bibiana Galdós and her partner Martín Lasarte travel to Granada to unravel the connection between the two crimes. What they find there is far darker than they imagined: a network of favors that links strangers and seems to know the deepest desires of its victims all too well. 

As the detectives get closer to the truth, the price of knowing it grows ever higher. Because in this game, no one is innocent. And everyone has something to lose.
