“The fruit of revenge is more revenge.”

Timothy “Moth” Warner, struggling to stay sober, splits his time between graduate classes at the University of Miami and meetings with a support group for recovering addicts. His uncle Ed, a psychiatrist and rehabilitated alcoholic, is his greatest moral support.

One day, worried because Ed missed an appointment, Moth goes to his uncle’s office—only to find him dead, sprawled in a pool of blood. He appears to have shot himself in the temple. The police quickly close the case as an apparent suicide.

But Moth is convinced it was murder. Devastated and determined to find the killer himself, he turns to the only person he can trust: Andrea Martine, his former girlfriend whom he hasn’t seen in four years. Despite being trapped in depression after a traumatic experience, Andy cannot ignore his plea.

As they confront their inner demons, the two young people descend into a dark, unfamiliar world—one inhabited by a twisted, vengeful mind that will stop at nothing to achieve its goal.
