Los versos sueltos del Edén

Plaza y Janés 2024

The most impenetrable walls are those of the mind itself.

The young psychologist Lis de la Serna returns to her native Cantabria to take up the position of head of the mental health department at the Santa Teresa residence. Run by the Carmelite congregation and perched among the cliffs of Comillas, Lis had been there before, when the suicide of her partner led her to be admitted to the center. But now, believing her troubles are behind her and that she can start anew, she does not suspect that deceit, betrayal, and murder lurk within the institution’s walls.

When she uncovers the strange circumstances surrounding a death that occurred there, Lis is drawn into a dangerous world ruled by secrecy, domination, and crime. Will she be able to confront the truth hidden within Santa Teresa residence and emerge unscathed?
