The Inquisition against Goya

THE GREAT NOVEL OF THE INQUISITION AGAINST GOYA.
CAN A PAINTER JUDGE THE WORLD? CAN THE WORLD JUDGE A GENIUS?
1799, Madrid. Francisco de Goya y Lucientes, painter to the king, announces the sale of a luxurious book of prints entitled Los Caprichos. Although sales are a success, two weeks after its publication, Goya withdraws it from the market. Over the following months, its scandalous content begins to spread like wildfire. Why does Goya hide his most personal work? What is he afraid of?
It is then that the young Angélica Díez arrives in Madrid with her father to start a new life. The capital has become a place of contrasts, where the enlightened ideas spreading throughout Europe converge with institutions such as the Holy Inquisition, which refuses to die.
To make a name for herself in Madrid society, Angélica goes to Goya and asks him for a portrait. However, the young woman is unaware that this will bring them together in a dangerous plot involving the Inquisition, the Caprichos, and a rumor that could destroy the master: it is said that Goya has painted a nude woman.
While the Inquisition attempts to try the painter as a final show of force to demonstrate its power, Angélica will discover something that Goya always knew… There is no weapon sharper than art to change history.
