Inma Aguilera

Inma Aguilera García (Málaga, 1991) holds a degree in Journalism from the University of Málaga and completed the XXV RNE Master’s program at the Complutense University of Madrid. She also holds a PhD in Education and Social Communication.

Upon returning to her hometown, she joined the Luisa Ezquerra School of Voice and Dubbing to continue working as a freelance voice actress. Fascinated by art and animated cartoons, she won several children’s contests in painting, comics, and Japanese manga from an early age. Her literary vocation stems from the combination of these interests and her experience as an audiobook narrator during her university years. She currently works in writing, drawing, and professional dubbing.

In 2016, she won the XXI Ateneo Joven Novel Prize of Seville with El aleteo de la mariposa (Algaida, 2016). In 2018, she won First Prize in the XX Young Creators Contest of Salamanca in the comics category for ¿Y tú quién eres? In 2020, she received the Special Mention of the VIII HQÑ International Romantic Novel Prize from HarperCollins Ibérica for El excéntrico señor Dennet (HQÑ, 2020).
