Iñaki Biggi
Iñaki Biggi, born in San Sebastián in 1965, holds a degree in Psychology, but his true vocation has always been literature, particularly historical fiction, a genre in which he has excelled with works such as El Santuario and La fórmula Stradivarius. With Valkirias (2018), set during a Viking raid in 9th-century Seville, he established himself as one of the most original voices in the genre, winning the prestigious Cerros de Úbeda Award for Best Historical Novel of the Year.
Throughout his career, Biggi has combined history with elements of suspense, creating plots in which intrigue and historical context intertwine seamlessly. In titles such as El lobo de Whitechapel, Proyecto Moisés, and the recent La rosa blanca (2025), set in Madrid during Spain’s democratic transition, the author demonstrates his versatility in tackling different eras and literary styles.
