The UDEV team of the Judicial Police in Cádiz, led by Inspector Diego Castro, will be in charge of investigating a gruesome crime committed in San Fernando (Cádiz). They will be assisted by Valentina Palacios, a young criminologist who has just brilliantly defended her doctoral thesis at the University of Valencia and who, despite her fragile and eccentric appearance, will be able to overcome her traumas to become a key figure in solving the murder.

To the ritualistic and macabre nature of the case are added a series of devastating events in Inspector Castro’s life, which will alter the course of the investigation and trigger a profound personal transformation in each member of the investigative team, forcing them to make drastic decisions that will shape their destinies.

As if it were an independent thread, an unknown woman recounts the story of her life, in which violence and its disastrous consequences have shaped her choices. She is a strong woman, unafraid of anyone or anything, who takes control of her existence to act according to her conscience, without fearing the consequences or the price she must pay.
