La huésped de la Casa amarilla

Suma 2024

Tenerife, Canary Islands, 1940.

Tamara has spent half her life in the service of the Finley family, a British-origin family settled on the island that runs a luxury hotel and a banana plantation. A month after her father’s strange disappearance, the young maid welcomes a very special guest to the estate: Erika Hoffmann, a renowned German anthropologist whom she must assist during her stay. What is most disconcerting are the secret reasons that brought this woman to the Canary Islands, but above all, the fact that the scientist is staying in the Yellow House, a small dwelling trapped between the estate’s plantations that has been closed for years and to which the staff are forbidden to enter.

For Tamara, it is a cursed place, as her father had told her all kinds of stories about it. And the legends seem to be true. From this moment on, the lives of Tamara and Erika will change forever.
