XV Fiction Award Ciudad de Badajoz 2012.A councilman in urban planning is about to make the jump from local to national politics. At that moment, he realizes that his extramarital relationship with a woman could have an adverse effect on his political career, and so he decides to leave her. But she doesn’t resign herself to the fact of losing him. She kidnaps him at gunpoint three weeks before the elections day and locks him up in her grandma’s cellar, in an almost deserted mountain village.
She still doesn’t know what she’s going to do with him, and then she finds out that Al Qaeda has claimed responsibility for the councilman’s kidnapping. From that moment on, everyone is in big trouble.
