Born in Valladolid (Spain) in 1954. Published his first articles in ‘El Norte de Castilla’. When at University he was imprisoned due to his political activities against Franco’s regime. He was press director at the Spanish Embassy in London and also contributed with articles for the International Press Agency United World. He collaborates regularly with newspapers and magazines, including the cultural section of the daily newspaper El Mundo and works as a copyeditor for advertising campaignes. He directed the radio program Claves de la Historia of Radio Intercontinental.

Nowadays he is the Director of Contents of the online tv Literalia Televisión dedicated to books and literature.
